With the staff meeting over and the pressure of the launch still about, if abated by the assuring sight of everyone saying that they were ready to go, Terry was running, or, in truth, ambling quickly, around the ship again, though her purpose had changed. She had only two goals at that point.
The first was to find more of the operations personnel. At some point, she would be asked to report on who she thought would be best to work on the upcoming mission, if they needed anyone. The likeliness an operations crewman would be needed seemed low. They tended to be extra bodies when it came to that sort of thing. Security, science, medical, and basically everything else was generally requested before them. Terry didn't mind having a stalwart belief in that system of thought about them. Her and her team's job was to keep the ship running. She could manage that.
All of that led to her second task at that moment. She needed to diagnosis some technical issues and reprogram a couple sections of the computer. The first part was the lifts, which seemed to not be quite clicking with the repairs that had been done on them. All in all, it was a rather daunting task, and she hadn't even gotten to the core systems. She was merely heading to the access panels she needed. Lines and lines of information to be cut apart and figured out and lines and lines more to write or rewrite lay in front of her. It was a job for two or three people.
Still, a pleasant, cheerful, energetic smile quirked her face as she continued along, picking her way to the core systems. It would be work, but she would do it. She saw no point in bothering anyone. She adored delegating, but she didn't know anyone and she wasn't going to delegate to anyone who she didn't know could do what had to get done.
