Fau'cheth finally made it up to the bridge and while there was quite a bit of damage still visible several of the stations were up and running. Much as she wanted to go sit at the helm and play with her own station she knew there was a priority to getting the ships turbolifts back online. She had some computer skills and had once taken additional study in Operations.
She found that Science station III was fully functional so she reconfigured for Damage control and reported in to Engineering.
//Commander Pesh'ewa, Ensign Fau'cheth reporting from the bridge. I've reconfigured Science Station III to help coordinate and report damage control efforts throughout the ship. Standing by for prorities Sir.//
She awaited instructions. Hmm... Pesh'ewa...sounded Caitian.
While she waited she swivled her chair and took a look around. There were still station workers replacing the damaged Ops console and several ceiling tiles that had fallen. There were burn marks visible almost everywhere she looked.
One of the workers came close to her small frame and looking down at her put his hand on her shoulder... "hello purr" he said.
"Did I do anything that gave you the impression you could put your hands on me?" she asked looking up at him.
He smiled and one of his friends laughed. All four fingers flexed and sharp claws pierced his hand as she removed it from her shoulder. "Gahh" he howled as he pulled his hand away.
"That's Ensign to you crewman" she said as she retracted her claws.
The foreman came across the bridge to see what was going on.
She smiled at the foreman and told him, "Your crewman put his hand someplace it didn't belong and got hurt. I believe he'll watch where hes going now."
The foreman looked at her a moment longer then nodded and grabbed the crewman by the sleeve yanking him away from where she was working.
She sat back down on the chair and began to collate all the damage reports she was able to retreive.
